Dementia Information and Advice Coordinator for Unpaid Carers

Full-time role (35 hours a week). Fixed term until 31st March 2028
Salary: £27,152.25

In this role, you will support unpaid carers of people living with dementia by providing information, advice and practical support. You will work with teams at Memory Support Hertfordshire and Carers in Hertfordshire to help carers access the services they need.

You will provide support by phone and email, assess carers’ needs, manage a caseload, create support plans and signpost carers to relevant services. You may also attend community meetings and events to share information and offer advice.

We are looking for someone with strong communication, organisation and IT skills. You should be able to manage your workload, stay calm under pressure and handle sensitive information with confidence and care.

The role is based in Hertford and includes a three-month office-based probation period. After this, there may be an opportunity for hybrid working.
