Walk and Talk in Oakmere Park

Meet in the High Street by the Park Gates at 10.30am, in suitable clothing and shoes, with a drink and something to sit on. The walk will go round the lake, and then over the High Street to Parkfield for keen walkers. Those not wishing to go on the walk could sit on the benches by the lake, or take short walks. On completion of the main walks, we will re-assemble by the Harvester, and decide whether to go for a coffee, or lunch in one of the nearby restaurants.

If the weather forecast is for rain, we will meet as usual at King Charles the Martyr Hall.

    Parking

There is free parking for Blue Badge holders in Oakmere Park, otherwise pay by phone or cash. There is a display board above the meters. There are public toilets in the car park. Otherwise, there is paid parking in The Walk or in the service road outside the Oakmere Tea Rooms.

    Additional Information

The group also meets informally between meetings for a social catch up in the ‘Admiral Byng’ public house in Potters Bar once a month – Please ask at the group for more details – All Carers are welcome.
