About The Course
At the end of this 8-week course you will have a foundation in the skills of mindfulness, compassion, and meditation, and know how to apply them in your life in a way that really makes a difference.
Who is the Course for?
This 8-week online course is taught by Amanda, a Breathwork’s teacher in training, and is open to complete beginners to mindfulness, as well as to people who may already meditate on a regular basis. The course will teach you how to boost your happiness and well-being, find new sources of resilience, joy, and calm in your life, and how to cope with stress and anxiety.
Amanda’s aim is to make this online course feel as supportive an environment as possible. So, feel free to bring a hot drink or snacks with you, and to stretch your legs whenever the need arises.
Running unavoidably late? Do not worry, just arrive as soon as you can.
Got a lot going on in the house one evening? Although we ask participants to turn their cameras on if they feel able to do so, we also appreciate there may be times when you may need to turn your camera off, and that’s fine too.
Cannot make a session? Even though we would encourage people to attend all sessions we also appreciate plans can unexpectedly change, so It’s fine to miss one or two sessions and still get something out of the course.
As well as attending our online live sessions, we will also encourage you to practice your own ten minute mediations twice a day (we will supply recordings for this). We appreciate caring responsibilities can make finding time for yourself difficult, so you will receive lots of support and encouragement during your course to help you find the best times and best ways for you to meditate between the live sessions.
Amanda will contact each participant prior to the start of the course, so we will ask for your consent to share your details (name, contact telephone number and email address) in order to allow this to happen. Simply follow the link in the email confirming you have a space to give consent. Amanda will also send out Zoom links and course resources throughout the 8-week course to each participant directly via email.
