Wednesday 22nd October 2025, 10.45am - 12.15pm Join artist Laura Cordery for a light-hearted drawing session designed to help you switch off and enjoy the moment. Through playful mark-making, including drawing with both hands at once, using charcoal on a stick (à la Matisse), drawing without looking, you’ll explore drawing in a fun, pressure-free way. Try your hand at watercolours, pastels, charcoal, pens, and pencils. No experience needed, just come with an open mind and enjoy a relaxed session full of creativity, curiosity, laughter and tea. This is one of six free creative sessions that Drawing Voices is running for Carers in Herts this October as part of the Arts in East Herts festival, celebrating creativity and making the arts accessible to all. Drawing Voices is an arts organisation that brings creative professionals and communities together through projects shaped by lived experience. We make collaborative art and performance, our team includes carers, and we work with people affected by invisible illness, hidden disability, and isolation.
