We Need Your SupportMaking Carers count strapline

There are more than 110,000 carers supporting someone they know with illness or disability who could not otherwise manage in Hertfordshire.

It is our aim to reach as many of those carers as possible.

It’s highly likely that someone you know or work with is a carer. Each day 6,000 people take on a caring responsibility and three in five of us will become carers at some point in our lives. This unpaid work saves the NHS billions of pounds a year but at what cost to the carer?

And that is where we need your help.

There are lots of ways you can get involved.  Our Members play a vital part in the running of the charity and volunteers are needed to help with our fundraising activities. Companies play a vital role too; visit our Corporate Supporters page for more information.

If you would like to help us to help carers we’d love to hear from you.
