The latest issue of Carewaves (the first issue of 2025) is now available via this link – Carewaves issue 1 of 2025 – and it is packed with it is packed with information about our services and 2025 Carers’ Survey. We are inviting family and friend carers to complete a short survey to help us better understand what it’s like to be a carer in 2025, our 30th anniversary year. Your feedback will help shape better services. If you’re an adult providing unpaid help to someone due to illness, disability, addiction or they are elderly, you can take part at www.surveymonkey.com/r/YJ829HJ or contact us for details of our survey for young people under 18 with a caring role.

This issue of Carewaves also includes:
• Carers’ suggestions for days out in Hertfordshire.
• Photography advice from the Carers’ Camera Club.
• A spotlight on managing money for someone you look after.
• Stories and quotes from carers.
• Details about our Carers Week 2025 events (9th-15th June). These include some meditation and relaxation sessions and a Looking after your own Health event in Hatfield, from 10.30am on Tuesday 10th June, with the chance to have a blood pressure check and join a sleep or mindfulness workshop.
