Tuesday 18th November 2025, 12.30pm - 3.30pm The Big Plan is Hertfordshire County Council’s Learning Disability Strategy but the present version is now out-of-date. You can read it at: https://www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/media-library/documents/about-the-council/data-and-information/acs/the-big-plan-easy-read.pdf Work has started on a new plan which will cover children, young people and adults who have a learning disability including those who also have autism. The County Council will shortly be sending out surveys to gather your views to feed into the new version. However we want unpaid carers – family members and parent carers - to have the chance to discuss their concerns and priorities with the officers working on the new plan.
