Cooking for Dementia

Thursday 14th August 2025 - 3pm - 5.30pm You don’t need to have attended our previous Cooking for Dementia course to take part in this supportive, practical session. Whether you’re new or returning, you’re welcome to join us as we share a meal together and discuss practical, family-friendly ways to make mealtimes easier and more enjoyable for your loved one. Example topics include: Hydration – Why it’s crucial and simple ways to encourage it Constipation – A common issue in dementia, and the foods that can help Finger foods – Great options when using cutlery becomes difficult Making food tastier – Adapting meals to suit changing senses of taste and smell This is a chance to connect with others, learn helpful tips, and enjoy some quality time around the table.
