Karen Denny, Carers in Hertfordshire’s Project Officer, said:
"The feedback from carers has been overwhelming! With carers telling me that the financial benefits are making a really big difference to their lives. But, more importantly carers are taking a break from caring and popping out for a discounted coffee and cake or perhaps going along to their local spa/gym for some me time.”
"We are always looking to build on the offer so if you have favourite shops, why not tell them all about this valuable carers service that they could join?”

December 2019: As you may be aware, the Hotpoint Privilege Purchase Club, supports our Carers’ Passport Discount Card service, and offers savings on household appliances such as washing machines. The company has asked that we remind carers who may have brought a Hotpoint or Indesit washing machine to check if they are affected by a product recall due to fire safety concerns. To check if your model is affected, you need the model and serial number. You should find these on the inside of the door or on the rear of the appliance. You can then phone Whirlpool's UK call centre on 0800 316 1442 or visit the Whirlpool website - Whirlpool website link.
