Carers in Hertfordshire is delighted to have received a gift of £1,000 from the Cathedral and Abbey Church of St Albans, the money comes from the Cathedral's 2019 Mission Allocation.

The money will be used to support our work with unpaid carers within St Albans and beyond, enabling us to be there when carers need us, offer opportunities to meet other carers, and have their voices heard.

The Dean of St Albans, The Very Reverend Dr Jeffrey John, is pictured below addressing the audience at the cheque presentation ceremony.

Tim Napper, our Finance & Support Services Manager, said: “We are extremely grateful to St Albans Cathedral and its congregation for this generous donation. Without the support of members of the community, we could not continue to reach unpaid carers and provide them with support. Thank you for making carers count.”
