Wildlife and History Walk (Morning Session)

A guided walk across the King’s Meads nature reserve with Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust. We’ll start at Chadwell bank and the spring-fed source of the New River, and head towards Hertford to take in the new gauge house, hopefully meeting some of the areas wilder residents on the way. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear as the route features stiles, steps and uneven ground. If the weather is sunny, you may wish to bring a bottle of water and sun protection. Parking available at the King’s Mead pub.

There is another walk in from 2.30pm on the same day if this time does not suit you. Please book at this link for the afternoon session.

Registration Open Date/Time June 08, 10:30 until June 08, 12:30

Transport Guidance

Following consultation with carers, Carers in Hertfordshire have updated their policy on offering transport to their events. Carers told us we should not be spending more than £50 a journey for an individual, so we will be using this guidance in the future when considering transport options. We are happy to reimburse expenses incurred for using public transport to travel to an event.
