Older People's Forum (Online)

Our forums are events where carers have the opportunity to talk with professionals about the services that they provide. This session we will be discussing loneliness and how to tackle this in Hertfordshire for the people you care for and yourselves the carers. We are hoping to be joined by members of the loneliness strategy group in Hertfordshire.

Transport Guidance

Following consultation with carers, Carers in Hertfordshire have updated their policy on offering transport to their events. Carers told us we should not be spending more than £50 a journey for an individual, so we will be using this guidance in the future when considering transport options. We are happy to reimburse expenses incurred for using public transport to travel to an event.
