Care Towards the End of Life (6 Week Online Course) FULL

Run with The Hospice of St Francis, this course is for people who are coping with caring for somebody towards the end of their life. In this situation it is never too early to receive practical and emotional support. The course will cover introductions and difficult conversations, benefits and finance, community nursing, legal matters, funeral planning and wellbeing and caring for carers.

This course is for carers in the hospice’s catchment area – St Albans and Dacorum. If you live elsewhere, please get in touch to register your interest as the course may be opened up to other areas depending on uptake.

Transport Guidance

Following consultation with carers, Carers in Hertfordshire have updated their policy on offering transport to their events. Carers told us we should not be spending more than £50 a journey for an individual, so we will be using this guidance in the future when considering transport options. We are happy to reimburse expenses incurred for using public transport to travel to an event.
