A Walk Through the Wildlife & History of King's Meads (Morning)

Join a guided walk across the King's Meads nature reserve in Ware. The walk will head towards Hertford to take in the new Gauge House, via Chadwell bank and the spring-fed source of the New River. This is the perfect opportunity to spot some wildlife and pick up snippets of history. Please be advised that attendees will have to walk rough ground at times and climb over styles.

If this time does not suit you, a second walk will be taking place on the same day from 2.30pm - 4.30pm. You can book onto that session here

Transport Guidance

Following consultation with carers, Carers in Hertfordshire have updated their policy on offering transport to their events. Carers told us we should not be spending more than £50 a journey for an individual, so we will be using this guidance in the future when considering transport options. We are happy to reimburse expenses incurred for using public transport to travel to an event.
