  • Wednesday 26th July 2023, 10.30am - 12.30pm

Our Carer Support Hubs allow you to meet with other carers, share information, support each other and chat over a cuppa.

This month we will be meeting to go for an outdoor leisurely walk meeting at Oakmere Park – full details below.

On this occasion, it would be very helpful if you would register your intention to attend so we can contact you should plans change. If heavy rain may be forecast, we will meet at King Charles the Martyr Church at 10.30am as usual.

This month we will meet at Oakmere Park Gates in the High Street at 10.30am. Please wear suitable clothing and comfortable shoes, and bring a drink and something to sit on. We will provide biscuits. The ramble is expected to last for around one hour, ending by the lake near the Harvester restaurant. That gives us plenty of time to ‘walk and talk’.

Those not wishing to ramble can go to the lake in Oakmere Park, take short amble by the lake and/or sit and chat on the benches nearby. Once we reassemble in Oakmere Park, we could go to the Oakmere Tea Rooms for coffee.

PARKING notices state Blue Badge holders ARE FREE. Otherwise pay by pay phone or cash. 2 hours Display board above Meters.

Public toilets are situated in car park. The charge is 10p.
