Friday 15th September 2023, 2pm to 4pm
Enjoy a scenic walk around this special landscape, taking in the most interesting visible historical features. Panshanger Park is listed on the Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in England. As well as exploring the park’s history, we will hopefully see some of the diverse flora and fauna that live there. Please bring stout(ish) footwear and dress appropriately for the weather.
This walk will be led by Murray Brown who is taking a career break to care for his 94-year-old father. Murray worked as a ranger and people engagement officer at Panshanger Park between 2017 and 2021. Previously he worked in a variety of conservation roles, primarily with the RSPB.
Access to the parking and meeting point is via the entrance to the Tarmac offices off the B1000 – not the Thieves Lane car park. The nearest postcode is SG14 2NA but this is not an exact location.
