Developing Children & Young People’s Mental Health Services in GP surgeries

  Making Children and Young People’s Mental Health Services (CYPMHS) more accessible locally via your GP surgery. 

  Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (HPFT) and Primary Care Networks are working together to recruit Mental Health Practitioners who will be based in your local GP surgeries.   Their aim is to provide early and timely consultation, advice and support to prevent deterioration of emotional and mental health presentations in our children and young people and importantly to signpost/refer them to the appropriate service.

  Sharon Marsden, CYPMH Service Development Manager and Nick Clarke Consultant Clinical Psychologist & CAMHS Professional Lead for Psychological Services will be joining us to hear the views of  parents/carers to help develop this new service in Hertfordshire’s GP surgeries
