People in East and North Herts can find out more about using Direct Payments at free event

People in North or East Herts in receipt of Direct Payments or looking to be, are invited to book to attend a free, drop-in information event, to help get a better understanding of the options and choices available to use your Direct Payment.

The event takes place at Stevenage Football Stadium, Stevenage, on Thursday 16th November 2023, 10am -3pm. It is being delivered by Purple, which provides the Hertfordshire Direct Payment Support Service (DPSS) and Community Catalysts, who help develop community enterprises that provide care and support services for Direct Payment Holders and self-funders.

Come along to chat with Hertfordshire DPSS about its Personal Assistant (PA) finder service and Support Brokerage Service (that helps individuals to use their Direct Payment budget to source community services and providers).

You will also have the chance to connect with local enterprises in partnership with Community Catalysts, who can offer support in the community, including home care, companionship and respite.
