If you enjoy music and want a free afternoon or evening out then you may be interested in a music event – K Fest - taking place in Hertford this month (August).

K-Fest is a live mini music festival organised by local musician Pat Crilly to remember and celebrate his daughter Kristin Crilly who was a musician and tragically died in 2013.

This year’s K Fest takes place on Saturday 12th August 2017 at The Hertford Club in Bull Plain, Hertford from 11.30am until late.

There are 17 acts performing and there should also be a barbecue.

Linda Cudmore, our Community Fundraising Lead, said: “We are delighted that musician Pat has chosen Carers in Hertfordshire as the charity to benefit from any fundraising. It will be a great opportunity to spread the word about the support we give unpaid carers and chance to raise funds so that we can continue providing advice, training and services to carers when they need it. We look forward to seeing you there!”

Our Fundraising Team would welcome volunteers to help with meeting and greeting, raising awareness and collecting donations at the event. If you can help please contact Linda or Jacqueline on 01992 58 69 69 or email
