Caring with Confidence: Caring for someone living with Dementia

Caring with Confidence is a FREE knowledge and skills based programme for adult carers run by Carers in Hertfordshire.

The sessions are informal but follow a structure, enabling carers to learn and participate in a positive way through a range of group activities.

Carers are encouraged to build on their strengths, as well as learn from other carers in similar situations. Information and tips are shared during the session and afterwards everyone takes home a useful resource book.

Each session lasts 3 hours and relate to key aspects of caring.

Wednesday, 18th January - Caring & Life
Wednesday, 25th January - Caring & Communicating
Wednesday, 1st February - Caring Day to Day
Wednesday, 8th February - Caring & Resources
wednesday, 15th February - Caring & Coping
Wednesday, 22nd February - Caring for someone living with Dementia

ALL these SESSIONS are open to ADULT FAMILY CARERS whether they are new to caring or have been caring for some time.

Places are limited, so please Register your interest in attending one or more of the sessions as soon as possible.

We may be able to offer assistance with transport and alternative care for those carers who need it to attend a session.
