We Need Your Support
There are around 100,000 carers supporting someone they know with illness or disability who could not otherwise manage in Hertfordshire.
It is our aim to reach as many of those carers as possible.
It’s highly likely that someone you know or work with is a carer. Each day 6,000 people take on a caring responsibility and three in five of us will become carers at some point in our lives.
Without the care they provide pressure on the resources of NHS and Social Services would become unbearable. Research carried out by the University of Leeds shows that the value of care and support provided by carers is £87 Billion and £1.2 Billion in Hertfordshire alone.
We are working hard to support carers so that they have access to funding and services that helps them to care and have a life of their own.
If you would like to help us to help carers we’d love to hear from you.
