In 2009/10 Listening to Carers events were held in:

* Hoddesdon (April 2009)
* South Oxhey (June 2009)
* Watford (September 2009)
* Bishops Stortford (September 2009)
* Letchworth Garden City (November 2009)
* Mill End (February 2010)
* Stevenage (March 2010)
* St Albans (March 2010)

Approximately 160 carers attended those Listening events and their issues and proposed action plans have been fed back to the relevant working groups of the LSPs.

The issues raised by carers at these events were also used to inform Carers in Hertfordshire's evidence to the County Council's Home Care Topic Group which met in November 2009 and our representatives' contributions to the Strategic and Joint Commissioning Groups and to the Learning Disability Partnership Board.
