Description

The British Schools Museum, Hitchin has a unique set of school buildings developed on the site.

Classrooms are open to the public and are furnished and equipped to show the history of elementary education from 1810 to 1969.

Here young and old can enjoy going back to school to a place where "learning comes to life".

This two hour tour includes a lesson in the gallery classroom.

Places are limited, so please register your interest in attending as soon as possible.

Carers in Hertfordshire events are free and only available to unpaid carers who live in Hertfordshire or care for someone who lives in Hertfordshire.

Carers in Hertfordshire are happy to discuss travel arrangements with those carers who are not able to make their own way to the venue. If required, we can also assist with alternative care arrangements.
