Carers in Hertfordshire currently has the following vacancies:

Mental Health Carers Involvement Project Lead (ref MHIL)
18.5 hours per week

  • You will have a good knowledge of mental health and a strong commitment to involving people in service planning and development.
  • You will be someone who can manage a small project team working with carers of adults with mental health problems and with relevant organisations to influence the commissioning and delivery of mental health service in Hertfordshire.

Training and support is provided with this post and benefits include a pension with employer contribution, flexible working and mileage reimbursement.  Post is countywide and travel will be necessary.  Post will be located at either Hertford or Hitchin office (dependent on the needs of the organisation).

Salary: £31,700 pro rata

Learning Disability Development Worker (ref LDDW)
25 hours per week

You will have a good knowledge of learning disabilities and a strong commitment to involving people in service planning and development. You will enable carers of adults with learning disabilities to share their views and experiences to inform the commissioning and delivery of services and the implementation of the Valuing People Now Strategy in Hertfordshire.

Training and support is provided with this post and benefits include a pension with employer contribution, flexible working and mileage reimbursement.  Post is countywide and travel will be necessary.  Post will be located at either Hertford or Hitchin office (dependent on the needs of the organisation).

Salary: £22,179 pro rata
Location: Hertford
