Would you think about becoming a Carer Trainer? If you would like to help staff, particularly in health and social care organisations, to gain a better understanding of what it is like to be a carer, you might like to take part in their training. As a carer trainer you would receive training induction and ongoing support as well as payment, travel and alternative care costs. You would meet other carers, staff and students from all over the county. We need to recruit more carers with specific experience to become Carer Trainers from the following groups:
Training to Become a Carer Trainer All Carer Trainers have a period of training to equip them for this task. Training will be organised to maximise the carer's opportunity to get involved and will probably occur over three sessions. We have three dates for training arranged: 6th, 13th and 20th August 2008 and these would be daytime or evening depending on people's needs. If these dates are not convenient for you, please do not let this deter you from contacting us. Please ring us on 01992 586969 or
email if you are interested. |
