Who is on the parent carer board?

The board members are:

Each member of the board brings with them a wide range of views and experiences, across different disabilities and ages. They are closely involved with a number of other parent carers groups and disability organisations across the county. Board members are not there to represent their own personal situations; they are there to act as a collective voice for all parent carers.

These volunteer parent carers on the involvement board are supported by a team of Parent Carer Involvement Workers from Carers in Hertfordshire, who work to encourage parents and carers of children with disabilities, to have their say regarding the planning and delivery of services. The team is led by Linda Cooper, the Project Lead for Parent Participation Aiming High for Hertfordshire.
